Marysville Luxury Villa started her life over 100 years ago as 'Seaview' located in Mornington. We have owned the block in Marysville for a couple of years and had originally planned to build before looking into relocation and finding 'Seaview' on Golden Age Homes website. It was love at first sight for me, though my mum and husband took a bit more convincing, lol. I could see the potential right away and knew she would end up being very special..
We couldn't have completed the process without the awesome guys from Golden Age Home (GAH). They relocated the house and also did all of the renovations. You couldn't find a nicer guy than the owner of GAH, John. He was very patient with a complete newbie builder ;)
We had lots of ups and downs along the way. Spent a fortune we weren't expecting on making it bushfire safe, the tiler took 4 months to tile (?!) and we finished the build right in the middle of lockdowns which meant we couldn't get up there to finish the decorating until lockdown was over! Online shopping became my new best friend as I didn't have any other option! Luckily I had chosen all of the hard fixtures and fittings beforehand!
I think we've ended up with a very special house and we are very happy to be able to share her with everyone!
